It is the story of a girl who was sentenced to death for defending herself against a man who tried to rape her.
The documentary “Seven Winters in Tehran” was prepared through the heart writing and letters of a passionate but imprisoned girl who is in pain with Sholeh, her mother. A story that reveals his strong character who refused to go through injustice to save his life.
This documentary tells the story of Reyhana Jabari, who was executed in 2013; An ordinary girl with an ordinary life who happens to meet a security guard who introduces himself as a plastic surgeon and goes to what is apparently his workplace to design the interior of his office. This is the beginning of a shocking story that the film succeeds in telling and easily takes the audience with it.
This documentary will be shown on October 9, 2023 at 15:20 at Traum-Kino in Kiel, Germany.
